Our Story
Bernita and Sid became each other’s “Match” on February 13, 2021. Both curious about this “match”, began corresponding with each other.
Obviously, this was a connection, as we continued to message and then eventually talked over the phone. In time, we decided to meet each other in person. We originally discussed meeting over the weekend, but on the morning of Thursday, February 18th 2021, Sid reached out and asked Bernita to do dinner later that day.
That evening we met at Urban Grub, Nashville, TN. After a long conversation over dinner and drinks, we both agreed that we had a good time and would like to see each other again.
Over the next year, we spent time getting to know each other. Our 3-hour conversations seem like only moments as we wanted to spend more and more time together getting to know each other more, creating memories and laughing. Soon phone calls turned into dates, dates turned into traveling and traveling turned into a wonderful friendship and partner. Not only did we build our relationship with each other but we both have the honor of building a family with our daughters Kennedy and Sonali.
On February 15th, 2022; a year later, Sidney proposed to Bernita at Nashville's Love Circle Park.
We're so excited to start the next phase of our lives together and can't wait to celebrate with you in September!
